①The YAMADA HOLDINGS Group does not maintain any relationships with antisocial forces.
②In order to prevent damage by antisocial forces, the YAMADA HOLDINGS Group coordinates with the police, Centers for Removal of Criminal Organizations, lawyers, and other outside experts and takes action in an organized and appropriate manner.
③The YAMADA HOLDINGS Group does not accede to any unreasonable demands by antisocial forces and responds resolutely by taking legal action.
④The YAMADA HOLDINGS Group does not provide funding or engage in backdoor dealings with antisocial forces.
⑤The YAMADA HOLDINGS Group protects the safety of any executives who are subjected to unreasonable demands by antisocial forces.
From the perspectives of ESG management and defending the corporation itself, as well the YAMADA HOLDINGS Group refuses to deal with antisocial individuals and organizations, which present a threat to sound company business activities and the social order. To prevent said dealings, we have established a Basic Policy on Elimination of Antisocial Forces. We recognize the complete elimination of antisocial forces as one of our social responsibilities and we are resolute in dealing with this issue.
The YAMADA HOLDINGS Group has designated its General Affairs Department as the department responsible for dealing with issues relating to antisocial forces, and we have assigned a general manager for the prevention of unreasonable demands. In addition to creating a reporting system that provides stores with a contact point to which to report matters related to antisocial forces, we coordinate with outside experts and the police, and we train and educate unreasonable demand prevention managers in each department. A supervising department centrally manages all information regarding antisocial forces, and we have established a framework that prevents all business dealings with antisocial forces.
