Revised August 17, 2026

The YAMADA HOLDINGS Group has established a unique business model that seamlessly integrates the entire product lifecycle—from manufacturing, construction, sales, delivery, and installation to collection, recycling, reuse and resale, and disposal—fully within the Group. We deeply understand the environmental challenges across our value chain and are committed to advancing the circular economy, protecting the environment, and realizing a sustainable society. Recognizing our extensive use of diverse resources, we consider addressing climate change and preserving biodiversity to be an imperative priority for our business.

1. Environmental Management System

The Group positions addressing environmental issues as one of its key management priorities. Under top management leadership and in accordance with the structure established in the YAMADA HOLDINGS Group’s "Sustainability Basic Policy," we engage in Group-wide efforts to address climate change and protect biodiversity and ecosystems. Furthermore, we continuously evaluate and improve our environmental management system and related initiatives through the "ESG & Sustainability Promotion Committee" and the "Environmental Measures Subcommittee," while the Board of Directors oversees the progress toward achieving our environmental targets.

2. Products and Services

The Group contributes to the sustainable use of natural resources, waste volume reduction, and the prevention of air, soil, and water pollution through the development of products and provision of services that help reduce environmental impact, as well as the operation of an in-house closed-loop circular system.

3. Employees

All employees of the Group understand the contents of this policy and take responsible, voluntary action on an individual basis. Furthermore, we conduct regular training and education programs to foster a shared awareness across the Group.

4. Suppliers and Business Partners

The Group places strong emphasis on dialogue with stakeholders, including suppliers and business partners. Through environmental questionnaires and feedback, we foster mutual understanding and share information across the entire value chain toward achieving resource circulation and carbon neutrality. Through these efforts, we co-create a sustainable society.

5. Local Communities and Social Contribution

The Group protects local biodiversity and ecosystems by deepening our understanding of local natural environments and striving for business operations that consider ecosystems. Furthermore, we implement the advancement of resource circulation, such as reuse and recycling, together with local communities, collaborating to build a foundation and foster awareness for passing on a rich environment to the next generation.

6. Environmental Compliance

The Group complies with laws, regulations, ordinances, and agreements related to environmental issues such as climate change and biodiversity. In addition, we actively participate in international environmental initiatives, establish targets based on frameworks including the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) and the TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures), and promote business activities with due consideration for conservation efforts and pollution prevention.

7. Information Disclosure and Communication

The Group establishes targets based on the analysis of risks and opportunities regarding environmental compliance obligations, considering societal trends, and aims to continuously improve environmental performance through periodic reviews. Furthermore, we ensure fair, accurate, and highly transparent disclosure of our environmental policy, progress, and results of global environmental conservation initiatives to all stakeholders, while striving to foster active communication.
