1. Legal and regulatory compliance

・We comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and international rules.

2. Respecting human rights

・We eliminate discrimination on the grounds of race, nationality, gender, religion, and all other grounds in all of our dealings with stakeholders, and we respect the dignity and individuality of all individuals.

・We have established a human rights due diligence framework and use it to identify, assess, and prevent or mitigate negative impacts on human rights.

・We engage in sincere dialogue and discussions with employees and representatives of employees, and we build healthy labor-management relationships.

・We respect our employees' rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining.

3. Work and employment

・We pay appropriate wages in exchange for labor, taking into consideration minimum wage levels set by local laws and regulations.

・We do not engage in any inhumane activities, including the use of child labor or forced labor.

・We set appropriate work hours as stipulated in local laws and regulations.

・We implement safety measures with respect to machinery and devices in worksites and we strive to manage health and safety in facilities.

・We maintain evacuation routes for use in the event of emergencies or disasters, and we conduct regular disaster drills.

・We take into consideration the physical impact that work has on one's body.

・We monitor the physical and mental health of our employees.

・We strive to reduce the incidence of occupational accidents and illnesses.

4. Environmental conservation

・In addition to complying with environmental laws and regulations, we also strive to reduce our environmental impact and prevent pollution.

・We strive to evaluate and regularly review our own environmental performance.

・We strive to reduce our CO2 emissions by promoting the efficient use of energy and by reducing energy consumption.

・We promote resource conservation, recycling, and reuse, we reduce the amount of waste we produce, and we optimally manage and process waste.

・We actively collaborate in social contribution activities in the environmental field, along with local communities.

5. Fair transactions

・We engage in fair and transparent business dealings and in free and fair competition.

・We take a resolute stance to handling antisocial forces.

・We strive to ensure that our suppliers comply with all laws and regulations, and we regularly review the state of their legal and regulatory compliance.

・We forbid all corruption and bribery.

・We strive to protect intellectual property in accordance with local laws, local regulations, and international rules.

・We observe import and export restrictions.

・We disclose information appropriately.

・We have established whistleblowing contact points inside and outside the Group for reporting violations.

6. Ensuring product safety

・We strive to ensure and improve the quality and safety of products.

・We respond quickly to product defects and accidents and comply with all applicable local laws and regulations.

7. Information handling

・We pay due care to the handling and management of information and prohibit the use of information for purposes other than the purposes stipulated for the information.

・We periodically confirm the state of our compliance with laws and regulations, including laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information.

8. Harmony with and contributions to local communities

・We maintain positive relationships with local communities and promote activities which contribute to them.
